COVID-19 Polices and More

What are your COVID-19 Guidelines?

We take Governor Kemp’s policies very seriously and are proud to say that as of August 2020, we have no reported cases of COVID-19 with our staff.  Classes are limited to 10 per hour, with the proper spacing requirements.  Equipment is cleaned after each class and clients are able to reserve and check in to class with no physical touch required.

Masks are optional and not required.

Who do I contact with any questions on the gym?

Email [email protected] or call 404-850-0199 with any questions!

Do I need to reserve my spot for classes?

Due to COVID-19 regulations on class spacing, we now require class reservations.  They can be made easily using our Zen Planner App.  You’ll be given a login, and be able to view our class schedule and reserve your spot up to 30 hours in advance of your desired class.

Can I freeze/pause my membership?

Yes you can. We only recommend this if you are going to be gone/absent for longer than one month. When you request to freeze or pause your membership longer for one month, you are considered canceled in our system.

NOTE: If you freeze or pause your membership, you will be subject to the current rates upon reinstating your membership

If I need to cancel my membership how does it work?

At CrossFit South Cobb, we do NOT do long term contracts. We simply do an automatic withdraw of your account. We do require (14) days WRITTEN NOTICE before your billing date. If you fail to provide (14) days written notice, you will be subject to the next billing cycle.

* Prepaid memberships cannot be canceled or refunded!

How long are the classes?

Classes are 60 action-packed minutes long.  Remember all you have to do is show up!  The coaches are trained to take you through the entire class from warming up, performing the movements safely and effectively, and cooling down

Are you open on Sundays?

Our gym doesn’t open on Sundays because we want to give ONE day to our coaches and members to get outside the 4 walls of the gym and do LIFE. Whether that’s hiking Kennesaw mountain, hitting the silver comet trail, or just spending time with friends and fam…that’s what we are about. We are big believers in balance and want our members to be as well!

What if I'm late?

We ask that you do your best to respect the coaching staff and your fellow members by showing up on time as much as possible.  Life does happen, and we understand!  Please try to make it no later than 10 minutes past your assigned class time.

What are the class workouts like?

The CrossFit program is constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity.  We believe that general physical preparedness is essential to building functional human beings. To dive deeper, our program is:

  • Consistent, yet varied
  • Challenging, yet inclusive
  • Serious, yet fun

These three bullet points go into all of our program consideration. We want to bring you the best possible program to get you to your goals, so individual modifications are often utilized.

What should I bring to class?

YOU! You’re the machine we utilize to get you to your highest possible level of fitness. Other things you might bring are a water bottle and a towel.  We do have other items like socks, shirts, jump ropes, sports tape and other drinks for sale at the gym

Can I bring a friend to try it out?

ABSOLUTELY! We want you to share fitness with as many people as possible… that’s why we started this gym! Here are a few guidelines for when to bring them.

  • If they are beginners with zero CrossFit experience, please email [email protected] to set up a free trial consultation.
    • DO NOT bring an inexperienced athlete to a regular class without consulting a coach beforehand. This will benefit your friend, the coaches, and the rest of the athletes in your class.
  • If they have experience, please give Miles and/ Farrah 24-48 hours notice. This will make sure we can appropriately alert the coaches of your friend’s upcoming visit
  • FREE CrossFit introductions and tours are always available by visiting HERE

Does my visiting friend need to pay?

If your friend is joining a regularly scheduled CrossFit class, then they will be subject to our drop-in fee of $20. To make things easier, we can simply add that charge your account.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, you can bring the family! We ask that you keep them OFF OF THE TRAINING FLOOR during classes. This is for their safety and the safety of other athletes. If your child will not sit still long enough for this to happen, we will have to ask that you make other accommodations. We LOVE kids and families, but we want everyone to be safe!

Can I bring pet to the gym?

We love the cats and pups, but they can often be too distracting and take away from your training experience. We ask that you leave them at home and really focus in on your training!
